CANCELLATIONS

All rentals that qualify for a refund or store credit will be subject to a $25 administration fee.

24-Hour Cancellation Window

RENTING WITH SB offers a 24-hour cancellation window, commencing from the timestamp of the order being placed.

To qualify for a cancellation within this period, you must contact us via email at info@rentingwithsb.com within 24 hours of placing your order.

Eligible cancellations will receive a refund of the amount paid, less the $25 administration fee.

The 24-hour cancellation policy only applies where the rental has not already been packed, collected by the courier, or collected by the customer.

No refunds will be issued if the rental has already been packed or collected, or if the cancellation is requested within 14 days of the event.

Cancellations Outside the 24-Hour Window

If you request to cancel your booking outside of the 24-hour cancellation period, your rental will be made available for another customer to book for the same event date.

There are two possible outcomes:

1. Your rental is re-booked

If another customer books the same rental for the same event date, you will receive a refund of the amount originally paid, less the $25 administration fee.

2. Your rental is not re-booked

If the rental is not booked by another customer for the same event date, you will receive a store credit for the amount originally paid, less the $25 administration fee.

You will be contacted regarding the outcome of your cancellation 3–5 business days after the original booked rental date, once it has been confirmed whether the rental was re-booked.

Cancellation Example

Example:
Eli books the Bec + Bridge Cedar Maxi Dress for 20 July for $75. Eli later decides she would like to cancel her booking but is outside of the 24-hour cancellation period.

RENTING WITH SB makes the dress available for another customer to book for 20 July.

• If another customer books the dress for 20 July, Eli will receive a $50 refund ($75 booking less the $25 administration fee).

• If the dress is not re-booked for 20 July, Eli will receive a $50 store credit ($75 booking less the $25 administration fee).

SWAPPING RENTALS

Customers may request to swap their booked rental for an alternative rental if they change their mind.

All rental swaps are subject to the availability of the requested replacement rental and cannot be guaranteed.

More Than 14 Days Before Your Event

A rental swap may be requested for a $10 swap fee.

If the replacement rental is more expensive than the original rental, the customer must pay the full difference in rental price.

If the replacement rental is of a lower value, the difference will not be refunded or credited.

Within 14 Days of Your Event

Rental swaps requested within 14 days of the event may be permitted at the discretion of RENTING WITH SB.

A $15 swap fee will apply.

The replacement rental must be of equal or greater value than the original rental. No refund or store credit will be provided if the replacement rental is of a lower value.

Only a direct swap will be permitted.

The increased swap fee applies because the original rental may have been unavailable for other customers to book during this period.

Price Differences

Regardless of when the swap is requested, if the replacement rental is more expensive than the original rental, the customer must pay the full difference in price before the swap can be confirmed.

All swaps remain subject to rental availability.
